Journalism can reach us sooner and more frequently online. Facebook is now a news source. Buzz Feed News is dictated by what readers want. What matters to an internet audience will be dictated by algorithms and formulas. The phrase TLDR (too long didn’t read) applies now more than ever.

Remember the recent debacle where Facebook was accused of selecting Democratic news over Republican issues? Facebook had not been recognized by major news networks as a news source–that is, until it came under fire.
